Our department is best known for a wide range of services offered:

• Conducting employment law audits (both identifying violations of labor law and providing advice on remediation and prevention), negotiations with trade unions and resolution of strikes, reductions in force (including mass layoffs), internal corporate investigations, and due diligence reviews of employment law liabilities in corporate acquisitions;

• Advice on wage and hour issues, employee privacy rights, data protection, employment-related tax issues, family and medical leave matters, disciplinary sanctions and terminations, localization and implementation of internal corporate policies, workers’ compensation, non-discrimination and prevention of harassment, safeguarding trade secrets and intellectual property, insurance coverage for employment law claims, alternative dispute resolution mechanisms for resolving employee grievances and legal claims.

We advise a large number of foreign investor clients and consequently have considerable experience in obtaining work permits and residence permits for foreign nationals employed by Ukrainian subsidiaries of foreign investors, and for heads of representative offices of large foreign companies.
