We continue to act at the forefront of legislative consultation, guidance and reform in the country. Specifically, we worked on the projects that led to the creation of the current Law on Credit Institutions, Enterprise Law, Notary Law and related decrees. This experience has given us special insight into the legislative intent of these laws and familiarity with the Vietnamese legal authorities who administer them. We singlehandedly pulled together the Chamber of Commerce and other business groups into a working group that ultimately convinced the government to lift the foreign ownership cap for fintech companies. This gives us unparalleled experience in the regulatory aspects of finance transactions, and certainly puts us at least on a par with the experience of the firms VILAF and YKVN LLC (each of which is ranked in Band 1 for both Vietnam B&F and B&F: Capital Markets).

This expertise includes advising on domestic and cross-border IPOs, debt issuances and programs, and complex, multi-jurisdictional acquisitions and divestitures involving public companies.
