The Arthur Cox Construction Department has deep experience across a breadth of sectors including energy, commercial, residential, and utilities – and we deal exclusively with contentious and non-contentious construction matters.

We are known to have an impressive list of public and private sector clients and we provide construction advice to Northern Ireland’s leading banks and financial institutions, insolvency practitioners, accountancy firms, government bodies, developers, professional consultants, contractors and sub-contractors. We have clients at every tier of the construction market.

We are lead construction advisers on two of the largest and most high profile construction projects taking place in Northern Ireland over the next 5 to 10 years i.e. Ulster University’s Greater Belfast Development and the Department for Communities (formerly DCAL’s) funding of the three stadia projects.

In an era of increased construction disputes, our construction team is known to have valuable experience in dealing with construction adjudications, mediations, litigation, conciliation, expert determination and arbitration.

We work closely with our colleagues in the Property, Projects, Energy, Corporate and Insolvency teams to provide construction support on a wide variety of matters.
