Overview

Our Energy Practice is best known for our experience in the drafting, negotiation and/or administration of more than 2.700 MW in engineering, procurement and construction (“EPC”) agreements. We also have experience in the development of more than 2.500 MW in greenfield energy projects. We have drafted, negotiated and/or administrated more than 1.200 MW in power purchase agreements.

Chile has set a goal that at least 20% of the generated energy in the country should be renewable by 2020. In 2018 Chile reached this goal and we are proud to say we have participated in more than 25% of the operating renewable (wind and solar) power plants in the country and are working in many others that are still in development.

We have experience in drafting and negotiating pipeline construction contracts, turbine purchase contracts, contracts for the supply and transportation of gas, and all contracts necessary to operate a power plant (easements, balance of plant contracts, constitution of water rights, etc.).

Our team is present in the entire process of the energy projects we participate in, enabling us to consolidate long-term relationships with different actors in the energy sector in Chile.
