Archipel’s arbitration practice is known as an international team operating from Switzerland.
The partners in the practice are qualified in Switzerland, Italy and Spain (Giulio Palermo), France (Laurence Ponty and Guillaume Tattevin) and England & Wales (Laurence Ponty) and have all gained previous experience in multiple European jurisdictions and in arbitral institutions such as the LCIA and Permanent Court of Arbitration, and the Swiss Arbitration Centre, where Guillaume Tattevin is a member of the Court since 2024. Each also has more than a decade of experience in Switzerland.
The focus of the work is commercial arbitration, with significant side practices in Sports and Investment. Archipel also handles post-arbitration work.
Clients are multinational companies, state entities, and high net-worth individuals. The firm has a regular background of commercial work including commodities, engineering, telecommunications, and construction. This is in addition to the Sports practice already described.
