  • Appleby Jersey’s Investment Funds team continues to work on first-class mandates for established funds & investors as well as developing work for new entrants on high-value & high-profile transactions. Our practice has a reputation for innovation in the Jersey market, having completed several firsts including the first conversion of an unregulated fund into a regulated fund & the creation of the first regulated fund entity with an LLP structure in it. We recently advised & acted as Jersey counsel to Petropavlovsk plc in respect of the issue of new USD125,000,000 Guaranteed Convertible Bonds.  Appleby continues to be a trusted adviser to issuers of large value capital market transactions & this deal reflects our expertise in the private and public credit markets, following closely on our recent advice to JPMorgan Chase Bank on a USD1.25 billion asset-based revolving credit facility to the Adient Group.
  • The team continues to build its market share, advising on fund finance, European private equity, management reorganisations, new real estate investment funds, investment & co-investment structuring, and fund services. We are one of only two funds teams in Jersey to have increased the number of funds advised.
  • We continue to see growing interest from European, American and Middle Eastern investors looking to Jersey & are uniquely placed to respond to this demand thanks to our global reach, with offices in Cayman & BVI as well as in all 3 of the Crown Dependencies. ​
