AZ’s Litigation Group has consolidated itself as one of the most relevant practice areas of the firm, due to the trajectory and complexity of the cases handled by their attorneys. The different types of conflicts and disputes that their clients face, both national and international, have enabled their team to adapt to and successfully perform in various complex legal scenarios.
Within AZ they organize their team into three main areas, the Civil Litigation and Arbitration area, the Regulatory area and the Criminal Law area. This gives them the advantage of being able to work together in smaller more concentrated teams, in order to create the best solutions and outcomes for their clients. Within these three core groups, AZ has many specialized practice areas like bankruptcy, class actions, white-collar crime, constitutional and administrative law, oil & gas, investment and commercial arbitration, mining, concessions, life science and competition and antitrust, to name a few.
Subsequently, many of AZ's lawyers are also Arbitrators, on the boards of pharmaceutical compliance associations, and advisors to various government Senators, Represenatives and entities.
