What the Team is Known For
Vinge's pre-eminent insurance practice is centred on compliance and regulatory mandates. It advises on all issues relating to the distribution of non-life insurance products in Sweden and across the EU, with notable experience in the negotiation of insurance intermediary agreements. The law firm often acts on large M&A transactions that require a strong understanding of the regulatory framework applicable to life or non-life insurance companies. Its lawyers represent clients in interactions with the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority in relation to findings of non-compliance and the issuance of sanctions decisions. The team also handles litigation on behalf of both insurance companies and policyholders.
