Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas is pleased to announce the appointment of Enrique Pintado as a new partner in its Tax Practice, further strengthening one of the firm’s strategic areas and enhancing its ability to advise clients on complex tax matters, administrative proceedings, and disputes involving public authorities.

Enrique brings an outstanding track record in tax law and tax controversy, bringing extensive experience from both the public sector and private practice. Most notably, he served for more than eight years as National Legal Superintendent of SUNAT, Peru's tax authority, where he led the interpretation and application of Peruvian tax legislation and played a key role in developing landmark legal criteria that have shaped tax administration and taxpayer guidance.

Throughout his career, Enrique has advised clients on a broad range of tax matters, represented them in contentious and non-contentious administrative proceedings, and acted in disputes before the tax administration and other competent authorities.

"Enrique's arrival represents an important milestone in our growth and specialization strategy. His deep expertise in taxation and tax controversy significantly strengthens our ability to advise clients on matters involving public authorities and the resolution of complex tax disputes—areas that are increasingly critical in today's business environment. We are confident that his experience and strategic vision will bring tremendous value to our clients, our practice, and the firm as a whole," said Alberto Rebaza, Managing Partner of the firm.

Camilo Maruy, Head of the Tax Practice, added: "Enrique's appointment reflects our continued commitment to excellence and specialization. His extensive experience and technical expertise further enhance our ability to advise and represent clients in increasingly sophisticated tax matters. We are confident that his contribution will be instrumental in further consolidating our position as a leading tax practice."

Regarding his appointment, Enrique commented: "I am excited to join Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas at a time of significant growth and momentum for the Tax Practice. My experience both within the tax administration and in private practice has given me a comprehensive understanding of the challenges companies face from multiple perspectives. I look forward to contributing to the continued growth of a practice recognized for its excellence and to helping clients prevent and successfully resolve their most complex tax matters."
