Vasil Kisil and Partners has successfully represented the interests of the client in Sadocha v. Ukraine case before the European Court of Human Rights.

Upon consideration of the application, written observation on merits of the case and just satisfaction, filed by Vasil Kisil and Partners’ lawyers, the Court found that confiscation of cash seized by customs officers when the client crossed the customs border was disproportionate and led to the violation of the client’s right to the peaceful enjoyment of his possessions. The Court awarded the client EUR 29,5k in respect of pecuniary damage.
