Hong Kong, 22 August 2018: Ally Law is continuing its expansion into Eastern Europe with the addition of Ukrainian practice Dynasty Law Firm, a move welcomed by Boase Cohen & Collins Senior Partner Colin Cohen.
Founded in 2000, the firm comprises more than 30 lawyers and has offices in Kiev and Dnipro. It is recognised in Legal 500’s 2018 rankings for expertise in real estate, construction and dispute resolution.
“We are pleased to welcome Dynasty Law Firm to Ally Law and look forward to working closely in the years to come. Delegates from the firm, including Managing Partner Denys Myrgorodskiy, attended our AGM in London recently and so the process of integration is already well under way,” said Mr Cohen, who is Chairman of Ally Law’s Expansion Committee.
“Ally Law is building a healthy presence in Eastern Europe, where emerging economies are creating exciting business opportunities for countries in that region and beyond. Ukraine is the latest addition to an Ally Law roster that includes Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland and Russia.
“Since joining the World Trade Organisation a decade ago, Ukraine has become particularly attractive for overseas investment. As well, ties between the country and Hong Kong are burgeoning, with the two jurisdictions enjoying mutual visa-free access and co-operation in customs matters. With all these factors brought to bear, Dynasty Law Firm’s recruitment is excellent news not only for Ally Law members but also clients of Boase Cohen & Collins.”
Dynasty Law Firm is the seventh new member of Ally Law in 2018 following the addition of firms in Portugal, Indonesia, Luxembourg, Brazil, South Korea and Taiwan.
BC&C is Hong Kong’s sole representative in Ally Law, which utilises close co-operation between members to help clients overcome their international legal and business challenges. The organisation comprises almost 70 firms in more than 40 jurisdictions.
