Thomson Geer has advised copper exploration and development company Marimaca Copper Corp. on a brokered placement of new CHESS Depository Interests in Australia and other countries to raise A$80 million.
The capital raising will be used to progress detailed design and engineering and project related workstreams at its Marimaca Oxide Deposit in Chile, exploration at the Pampa Medina Project and Marimaca sulphide target, and for general corporate purposes.
Thomson Geer advised Marimaca on the Australian legal aspects of the placement to institutional and sophisticated investors and existing shareholders.
