LONDON, 23 June – 4-5 Grays Inn Square, the leading civil, public, and commercial law chambers is proud to announce that Cyprus’ National Anti-Corruption Committee has appointed Tanveer Qureshi to undertake investigations in relation to allegations of bribery and corruption.


Tanveer will work alongside two other investigators, George Kampanella of Taylor Rose MW Solicitors, also of London, and Cypriot based, George Liasides of Liasides LLC. Together with local stakeholders they will examine reports and complaints about malfeasance and misfeasance in the broader public sector but will also be able to look at private-sector entities where these have dealings with the government.

Tanveer, together with the two other investigators will conduct a thorough examination of the evidence and provide scrutiny and valuable recommendations to rectify any wrongdoings found over the course of the investigation.


Tanveer is a member of 4-5’s Investigations and Resolutions team, which has long been associated with high-profile inquiries, such as the Grenfell, Undercover Policing and UK Covid-19 Inquiries. Members of the team have chaired inquiries, acted as Counsel to the Inquiry and acted on behalf of core participants. The team have been involved in all aspects of public inquiry work, from interviewing witnesses to drafting written and oral submissions.
