SyCipLaw was named Philippine Law Firm of the Year at the asialaw Awards 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, marking the fourth time the Firm has received the award (it was also cited in 2020, 2022, and 2023). Partner Arlene M. Maneja accepted the award on behalf of the Firm. She was also shortlisted in three categories: Corporate and M&A Lawyer of the Year, Energy Lawyer of the Year, and Philippine Female Lawyer of the Year.

The Coca-Cola Philippines US$1.8 billion joint venture and the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) US$1.38 billion financing were also among the transactions recognized in this year’s Editor’s Choice Impact Case and Deal Awards. Deals were selected by asialaw editors based on their national or regional impact over the year.

The SyCipLaw team that handled the Coca-Cola joint venture was led by Arlene, alongside Partners John Paul V. De Leon, Easter Princess U. Castro-Ty, and Camille Angela M. Espeleta-Castillo, Senior Associate Fenina Maria C. De Leon, and Associate Armand Karlo G. Lustre.

For the NAIA financing project, the team was headed by Senior Partner Vicente D. Gerochi IV, with Senior Associate Loubelle L. Razon-Bagagnan and Associate Ma. Carina Theresa G. Guanio.

The asialaw Awards seek to honor the demonstrated innovation, complexity, and impact of matters handled by law firms and lawyers across 20 jurisdictions.
