Avance advises Summa Equity in the acquisition of the recycling and waste business of Fortum for approximately EUR 800 million.
The recycling and waste business to be acquired by Summa Equity through its portfolio company NG Group comprises municipal and industrial waste management and end-to-end plastics, metals, ash, slag and hazardous waste treatment and recycling services in Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway and currently employs approximately 900 employees.
The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.
