SSW Pragmatic Solutions advised the Chinese concern Meide Group on its acquisition of Odlewnia Zawiercie S.A.
Founded in 1961, Meide Group is a diversified multinational enterprise group which focuses on fluid transportation products and services. It makes sales in over than 130 countries throughout the world. Its products and services are applied in water, fire, gas, HVAC, irrigation and other fields. It has 9 production bases and more than 20 factories in China, Thailand, Vietnam and Poland.
The transaction team was led by Artur Michalski (partner and head of SSW’s China Desk) and Paweł Chyb Ph.D. (partner), assisted by Leszek Cyganiewicz, Cezary Giziński and Bartosz Kuzioła (associates).
Support in obtaining permits from the Office of Competition and Consumer Protection was supervised by Jakub Jedrzejewski (partner and head of SSW’s Competition practice) and Arkadiusz Ruminski (partner), assisted by Joanna Kanicka and Paweł Radek (associates).
The team also included Anita Palukiewicz (partner) and Tomasz Pietrzyk and Anna Bojja from SSW’s Environmental Protection practise.
