SPCG’s transaction team represented Unity Care Sp. z o.o., a portfolio company of Enterprise Investors, in the acquisition of 100% of shares in the CDL Barska group. This is another transaction by Unity Care, which is consolidating the medical services market in Poland and building a group of medical facilities offering family doctor, specialist and diagnostic services.
Centrum Barska is the market leader in comprehensive medical services in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province. It manages a specialist hospital, an outpatient clinic and four health centres offering patients primary healthcare services.
As part of the transaction, the SPCG team conducted due diligence on three companies operating the hospital and several primary care clinics, and then prepared and negotiated the documentation for the acquisition of the CDL Barska group. The work was led by Agnieszka Kołodziej-Arendarska, Partner, supported by Tomasz Czaplicki, Junior Associate. The wider team also included Łukasz Przyborowski PhD, Jakub Zieliński, Piotr Piotrowski, Wawrzyniec Rajchel, Konrad Czernecki, Iga Jaworska, Anna Rzeszutek, Jakub Puciato and Weronika Grabarz.
