Shahid Law Firm, with the international law firm Jones Day, is proud to have successfully advised Ferro Corporation, the world leader in technology-based functional coatings and color solutions, in respect to the signing of its definitive agreement to sell its tile coatings business to Pigments Spain, S.L. a company of the Esmalglass-Itaca-Fritta group, (a portfolio company of Lone Star Funds), for $460 million in cash. The Transaction also includes an additional amount of $32 million in cash based on the performance of the business pre-closing, subject to customary adjustments. Consummation of this global transaction is subject to the receipt of regulatory approvals and the satisfaction or waiver of other customary closing conditions.
