Miyanou has nearly 20 years of experience advising clients on the development of mining projects, providing strategic counsel on permitting processes and on navigating the complex regulatory issues these projects face. She is recognized as one of the leading lawyers in the sector by international legal directories such as Chambers & Partners, Legal 500, IFLR1000, and Lexology.
She serves as a Trustee at Large of The Foundation for Natural Resources and Energy Law and as an Officer of the IBA Mining Law Committee. She actively participates in organizations that promote women’s participation in the legal profession, including WIP Peru, WAAIME Peru, and WIM Peru, where she also mentors young female lawyers. She earned her law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú where she was recognized for her academic excellence.
- Sebastian Saavedra (Associate, Mining and Environment)
Sebastian has more than 12 years of experience in mining and environmental law. His practice focuses on designing strategies for obtaining governmental authorizations, representing clients in administrative enforcement proceedings before OEFA, OSINERGMIN, and ANA, and conducting legal due diligence in M&A transactions and financing operations. He holds an LL.M. in Mining Law and Policy from the University of Dundee (CEPMLP), awarded with distinction.

Flavia’s practice focuses on advising clients on environmental and mining regulatory compliance, assisting in regulatory inspections and enforcement proceedings, managing regulatory risks, and conducting legal due diligence for the acquisition of mining assets.
