On December 12, 2024, Rebaza, Alcázar & de las Casas ("RAD") promoted Maite Colmenter as a new partner in the Private Clients and Financing areas.
Maite assumes this position from Mexico City, after a year working as counsel of the Firm providing excellent legal advice at an international level, with the purpose of continuing to position ourselves as a firm with representation abroad.
Maite is a lawyer graduated from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas, Venezuela and completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at New York University - NYU (2013). Previously, she was part of D'Empaire Reyna Abogados, one of the most important law firms in Venezuela, where her practice was specialized in corporate transactions and wealth management, focusing on the implementation of tax and estate planning structures.
Maite has been recognized by different legal boards for her experience in advising high net worth families, both in the structuring of asset holdings, as well as in the legal and inheritance management of family estates, including the implementation of family protocols and appropriate corporate governance.
She also has extensive experience advising clients in the negotiation and structuring of various financing transactions and infrastructure projects, both on the side of local and international financial institutions, as well as on the side of borrowing companies or issuers of securities.
