Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas in Lima advised Ecopacking Cartones S.A., as borrower, in a US$ 25 million financing granted by Coöperatieve Rabobank U.A., composed by a working capital line and mid-term loan. The borrower plans to use the proceeds of this financing to fund the company’s repayment of outstanding medium-term debt, working capital, and other corporate purposes. The lender was advised by De Bracamonte, Haaker & Castellares Abogados. The financing agreements were signed on June 4th 2021, and the disbursement of the mid-term loan occurred on June 7th of the same year. The collateral package includes trust over assets and cash flows, personal guarantees, among others. Ecopacking is a company engaged in the design, manufacture and marketing of plastic and paper packaging, which serves the agro-industrial market and mass consumption customers, with a prominent reach in North, Central and South America.
