Rebaza, Alcázar & De Las Casas advised Rimac Hydro S.A.C., a joint venture incorporated by EDF Perú S.A.C. and funds AC Capitales Infrastructure II, L.P., AC Capitales Fondo Infraestructura II, and AC Capitales Fondo Infraestructura II GP, in the negotiation and disbursement of a loan granted by Banco de Crédito del Perú for the purchase of the shares of Hidroeléctrica Huanchor S.A.C. (Huanchor). The loan is secured by a collateral structure that includes trusts for the administration and guarantee of cash flows and assets.
Additionally, Rebaza, Alcázar & de las Casas advised AC Capitales' funds in the acquisition of Huanchor, as well as in the negotiation of the agreements for its association with EDF Perú S.A.C.
The loan disbursement and acquisition of Huanchor took place on October 11, 2024.
