Professor Piergiorgio Valente has been elected President of the European Confederation of Tax Advisers (CFE) for the 2025-2026 term, reaffirming his position as one of the leading experts in international taxation. The CFE represents over 200,000 tax advisers from 30 European countries, promoting the harmonization of tax policies and collaboration among professionals.
During his previous presidency from 2017 to 2022, Valente led crucial initiatives to address global tax challenges, such as digitalization, tax transparency, and sustainability. His re-election, which took place in Ljubljana, reflects confidence in his leadership and strategic vision for a more integrated and innovative European tax future.
Among his priorities will be strengthening the dialogue between tax advisers, European institutions, and citizens, with the goal of contributing to fair, transparent, and inclusive tax regulations.
