Both have been associated with the firm for several years and have successfully expanded their respective practices: mining law and environmental protection (Ms. Palukiewicz) and infrastructure (Mr. Wysoczański). The addition of the newly-appointed partners means that the circle of partners at SSW Pragmatic Solutions now includes 25 people. The new partner promotions highlight the general trend of the firm’s dynamic growth in new and existing business areas.

Anita Palukiewicz, attorney at law, specializes in geological and mining law, as well as environmental issues. An expert in the field of geological and mining law, she has many years of experience in advising on mining investments. She advises on administrative proceedings related to the award of concessions. She also provides consulting services regarding the Treasury’s mining ownership rights, contracts to establish mining usufruct rights, geological information and environmental permits.

Anita's second area of ​​expertise is waste management consulting. She represents companies in many complex environmental and investment proceedings before administrative offices and courts. She provides comprehensive legal and business advice to investors regarding the environmental conditions that apply to investment projects in the municipal, energy, mining and infrastructure sectors among many others.

Ms. Palukiewicz graduated the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Szczecin.

Hubert Wysoczański, Ph.D., attorney at law, heads the infrastructure practice at SSW Pragmatic Solutions. He also cooperates closely with the litigation department and the energy and natural resources team.

He specializes in advising and representing clients in civil, commercial and administrative matters, during contract negotiations, project planning and implementation and in dispute resolution. He acts as counsel for foreign and Polish entities in arbitration and court proceedings. He has extensive experience in assisting the implementation of multi-million dollar infrastructure projects involving, among others, the construction of railway lines, highways, power plants, combined heat and power (CHP) plants, power lines, complex industrial infrastructure projects, wind farms, photovoltaic (PV) systems, mines, office complexes, airports, shopping malls and stadiums.

As an expert in the area of ​​construction works contracts and the FIDIC Contract Conditions, Dr. Wysoczański has authored specialist books on such contracts and on infrastructure investments (including the publication 'Construction contracts. The New FIDIC conditions', 2nd edition, 2018), which represents the first comprehensive study on the Polish market of issues relevant to contractual and judicial practice.

He completed his doctorate in law at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. He also studied at the University of Melbourne - Melbourne Law School in Australia and Bucerius Law School in Hamburg. He is a Consulting Engineer - a member of the Consulting Engineers and Experts Association (Stowarzyszenie Inżynierów Doradców i Rzeczoznawców - SIDiR). He also acts as an adjudicator in construction disputes.
