February 8, 2020 - Dentons Partner Konstantin Kroll has been appointed head of the Russian Corporate and M&A practice.
Konstantin Kroll has over two decades of experience advising corporate clients and financial institutions on complex cross-border transactions in Russia and the broader Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). He is recognized as a leading lawyer in Corporate and M&A by Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, The Legal 500, IFLR 1000, Leaders League, Best Lawyers, Pravo.ru-300 and Kommersant.
Konstantin is triple qualified as a Russian advocate, solicitor of Senior Courts of England and Wales, and Irish solicitor (non-practicing).
He joined Dentons in 2019. He was previously a partner at Orrick’s London office, where he was the Head of Russia and CIS Desk, and prior to that he practised with Jones Day and Allen &Overy in Moscow.

Konstantin also focuses on international arbitration. He is a fellow (FCIArb) of the Charted Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) in London and a Vice President of the Russian Chapter of CIArb European Branch, a member of the ICC Russia Commission on Arbitration and ICC Russia recommended arbitrator, and an accredited arbitrator at the Russian Arbitration Center at the Russian Institute of Modern Arbitration (RIMA) and the Arbitration Center at the RSPP, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (International and Investment Disputes Panel).
Konstantin Kroll graduated from Moscow State University in 1998 and obtained an LLM from the University of Manchester in 2001. He is a visiting lecturer at Moscow State University, the Higher School of Economics, and the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration.
The Corporate and M&A practice in Russia was headed from 2016 to 2020 by Mathieu Fabre-Magnan. Under his leadership, the practice grew to 50 lawyers and was top ranked by The Legal 500, Pravo.ru-300 and Kommersant. In 2019, Dentons was awarded “M&A Firm of the Year” by Best Lawyers, and, in 2020, “Corporate Law Firm of the Year.” Mathieu Fabre-Magnan will continue to work in his leadership roles as Co-head of Dentons’ Global Retail, Fashion and Luxury practice and Head of French Desk in Russia. He will also continue to work with clients as a partner in the Corporate and International Arbitration practices.
