Our firm advised Italgas S.p.A. on the acquisition of DEPA Infrastructure S.A., the largest gas distribution operator in Greece form the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF / ΤΑΙΠΕΔ) and the Hellenic Petroleum Holdings S.A. The acquisition marks the successful outcome for Italgas of its participation in the international tender launched in 2019 by the HRADF and the return to Greece of one of the largest gas distributors in Europe.
Our team was led by our partner Christina Faitakis, assisted by our senior counsel Katerina Dalamara and our associates Konstantina Chiotis and Vassiliki Nikolaou. Competition clearance of the acquisition was successfully undertaken by our competition partner Anna Manda with the assistance of senior associate Marina Chronaki and associate Angela Boletsi, while regulatory issues and due diligence were successfully tackled by our energy partner VALIA APOSTOLOPOULOU, employment partner Aggeliki Tsatsi, senior associates Argyro Vagia, Athena Economou, Ilia Polyzoidi, and our associate Christina Zevla.
