1. Deal Description
oEnergy Capital and a German energy group, entered into a joint venture for the development, construction, debt structuring, operation and maintenance of approximately 120 MWp 12 solar photovoltaic projects in Chile.
It was a multi practice area transaction. The corporate, financing, energy and tax teams of Guerrero Olivos worked in the deal.
Relevance to this transaction is that for the first time, oEnergy will maintain energy projects on a long term. Until recently, the core of its business was to develop, build and the sale the projects on a short term and then continue with the operation and maintenance of the said projects.
