BOSTON, DENVER, JACKSONVILLE, LOS ANGELES and NEW YORK — Fifteen attorneys from national cannabis and psychedelics law firm Vicente LLP were recognized in the 2025 edition of the Best Lawyers® lists, the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession. Multiple Denver-based partners were recognized in the 2025 Best Lawyers in America list. For the fifth year in a row, founding partner Brian Vicente was selected for inclusion for his work in Cannabis Law, Corporate Law, and Government Relations Practice. Founding partner Joshua Kappel and partner Shawn Hauser have been recognized in the Cannabis Law category for the past three years.

Boston-based partner Adam Fine was included in the list for a second year for his work in Administrative and Regulatory Law. He is joined by partner Phil Silverman, who is now a five-time Best Lawyers in America honoree in the field of Land Use and Zoning Law in Boston, Massachusetts.

Jennifer Cabrera and Brandon Kurtzman, partners at Vicente’s New York office, were recognized by Best Lawyers in the Cannabis Law and Administrative/Regulatory Law categories, respectively. This marks Cabrera’s third year and Kurtzman’s second year on the listings.

Florida-based partner Sally Kent Peebles secured her third-year recognition by Best Lawyers for Real Estate Law.

Seven additional Vicente attorneys were included in Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch in America©, which recognizes lawyers who are earlier in their careers for their outstanding professional excellence in private practice.

The 2025 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch marks Boston-based partner David Ullian’s five-year recognition for his work in Land Use and Zoning Law and Administrative/Regulatory Law. Boston-based partners Michelle Bodian and Jeremy Shaw also return for a second year to the Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch list for Bodian’s work in Administrative/Regulatory Law and Shaw’s work in Administrative/Regulatory Law, Corporate Governance and Compliance Law, and Corporate Law.

Out of the firm’s Denver office, partner Jerrico Perez has been recognized for her work in Administrative/Regulatory Law and Corporate Governance and Compliance Law for the fifth year in a row and senior associate Yolanda Clarke was selected in the field of Administrative/Regulatory Law for the third time.
