White and Williams is pleased to announce the election of Nancy Sabol Frantz and Steven Ostrow as co-chairs of the Real Estate and Finance groups. Nancy, a partner in the Philadelphia office, and Steve, a partner in the New York City office, will succeed Thomas Rogers and Joan Rosoff and bring significant experience handling high profile real estate and finance transactions and a commitment to continued superior client service.
Since 1989, Nancy has represented a wide range of clients in a variety of complex commercial real estate and finance transactions throughout the country, consisting of loan originations, syndications and workouts, as well as acquisitions, leases and dispositions. Her clients include international and domestic banks, hedge funds, insurance companies, Fortune 100 companies, other institutional investors and entrepreneurs.
For over 25 years, Steve has represented lenders, institutional investors, equipment financiers, distressed loan and asset traders and other secured creditors in commercial credit transactions, restructurings and workouts as well as foreclosures, property receiverships and bankruptcies throughout the country. He advises clients at all levels of the capital structure in a wide variety of structured transactions, including mezzanine loans, participations and other co-lender and intercreditor arrangements. Steve also represents shopping mall owners, other landowners and tenants in commercial leasing transactions, real estate litigation and retail bankruptcies.
The firm thanks Tom and Joan for their many years of service as practice group co-chairs. Under their leadership, the Real Estate and Finance groups represented clients in a wide range of transactions, including many significant local and national acquisitions, financing, and other transactions. Tom and Joan will continue to bring their more than 60 years of combined experience representing sellers, purchasers, lenders and investors in regional and national transactions to the practice groups and will continue their practices representing clients in complex real estate financing and other transactions.
