Mourant, a law firm-led professional services business, has moved up the rankings to number 25 in Global Restructuring Review’s (GRR) 'GRR 30', an annual list of the world's leading cross-border restructuring and insolvency practices.
The GRR 30 rankings are based on a mix of quantitative and qualitative factors: the volume, value, and complexity of cross-border restructuring and insolvency cases handled by firms during the research period; the significance and innovation of those matters; the firm's global reach and team strength; client feedback and reputation; and consistency in past performance.
Nicholas Fox, Head of Mourant's Restructuring and Insolvency practice based in Mourant's Cayman Islands office, said:
"It’s a privilege to lead our Restructuring and Insolvency team at such an exciting time for Mourant. Being ranked by GRR among the world’s top firms is a testament to the strength of our global platform and collaborative approach, which enables us to deliver innovative solutions to our clients on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters."
Further to the firm's placement in the GRR 30, Mourant was recently recognised with a shortlisting in the 'Offshore firm of the year' category at the GRR Awards 2025, which celebrates the standout individuals and practices in the global restructuring community which have made a significant impact over the past year.
Mourant has also been recognised with a shortlisting in the 'Offshore firm of the year' category at the prestigious Lawyer European Awards 2025. Winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on 27 November 2025.
