The results are in for this year’s 2025 Chambers and Partners UK Guide and we are delighted to announce that Morr & Co has been ranked in several categories, including individual rankings for two of our department heads.


These prestigious rankings, where independent researchers deliver detailed insight into the country’s leading lawyers, highlight the firm’s continued excellence across a range of legal services, with several lawyers being recognised for their expertise and commitment to client success.


Individual lawyer rankings:


  • Charlotte Rees-Knowlden has been recognised for her exceptional work, advancing to Band 2 in Personal Injury: Mainly Claimant (The South) and ranked as a ‘Potential’ in Clinical Negligence: Mainly Claimant (The South) for the first time.
  • Kristine Ng has continued her upward trajectory in Real Estate Litigation (The South), moving from ‘Up and Coming’ to Band 3.
  • Stephanie Calthrop-Owen, a recognised leader in Family/Matrimonial Law (The South) has been ranked Band 2 in the latest UK Guide. This is Steph’s ninth consecutive year being ranked.
  • Anne McAllister, for the second consecutive year, has been identified as a rising star in Family/Matrimonial Law (The South), maintaining her ‘Potential’ ranking.
  • Mandy Spring made a significant impact in Family/Matrimonial Law (The South), securing a Band 4 ranking after transitioning from a ‘Potential’ ranking at her previous firm.
  • Holly Chantler continues to impress in Court of Protection: Property & Affairs (UK wide), moving up from ‘Potential’ last year to Band 4 this year.

Department rankings:


  • The Family Law department, previously ranked Band 1 under ‘Crawley & Surrounds’, is now positioned at Band 3 for ‘The South’, recognising the team’s continued dedication, despite the expanded competitive landscape which now covers Sussex, Kent, Hampshire and Surrey.
  • The Real Estate Litigation department holds its ‘Potential’ ranking for the third year running, further underscoring the strength of this growing practice area.
