McCabes adds principal to Insurance Division


McCabes has appointed Kim Waygood as a principal in its insurance division, bringing over two decades of defendant insurance litigation expertise to the firm’s Brisbane practice.


Waygood has specialised in public liability, workers’ compensation, professional indemnity, product liability, and insurance disputes throughout her career.


She has comprehensive experience in medical negligence, regulatory investigations, and coronial inquiries, as well as working with insurers and self-insured corporations across retail, hospitality, construction, and mining industries. Additionally, she has represented local councils and government-owned corporations.


Commenting on her new role, Waygood said she is excited to
