Mayora & Mayora, one of the oldest and most prestigious law firms in Central America with origins in Guatemala, is proud to announce the promotion of outstanding professionals to the category of Partners, in recognition of their commitment, excellence, and contribution to the firm’s growth.

As part of this new stage in its trajectory, these promotions strengthen Mayora & Mayora’s position as a truly regional, multi-jurisdictional firm, with an integrated team of partners and lawyers working seamlessly across its offices in Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador, providing high-quality cross-border legal services that meet the needs of clients throughout the region.

The newly promoted Partners are: Suzel Obiols, Carlos Ortega, and Byron Deulofeu in Guatemala; Iván Flores in Honduras; and Dr. Jennifer Mejía in El Salvador.

Founded more than six decades ago, Mayora & Mayora is one of the few firms in Guatemala with over 60 years of experience, belonging to a select group that has reached this historical milestone. This new generation of partners represents the fifth generation of leadership, ensuring the continuity and projection of the firm for at least another 30 years, while maintaining its commitment to delivering the highest quality legal services in the region.

“These promotions reflect the talent and dedication of our professionals, as well as our vision to strengthen our regional presence with a team of excellence and a legacy that transcends generations,” said Eduardo Mayora, Managing Partner.
