Matouk Bassiouny & Hennawy has acted as Egyptian legal counsel to Vitabiotics Group Holdings Limited in connection with the sale of Vitabiotics, the U.K.’s No.1 vitamin company* with a presence across more than 70 markets, including its UK operations and the wider VB Group (including Meyer Organics in India, and its operations in Africa, including VB Egypt), to Bain Capital. The transaction represents a significant cross-border healthcare and pharmaceutical transaction.
The transaction was signed in July 2026, and its completion is subject to customary regulatory approvals. As Egyptian counsel, Matouk Bassiouny & Hennawy advised on all aspects relating to the Group's Egyptian operations in connection with the sale.
