Marval O’Farrell Mairal advised Grupo CMA on its acquisition by Latin Securities

Marval O’Farrell Mairal advised Grupo CMA in connection with the transaction by which Latin Securities acquired 100% of the shares of several companies related to the group, including Capital Markets Argentina, Asset Managers SA Agente de Valores (Uruguay), and Epic Capital Securities Corp. (United States).

The transaction—completed on November 12, 2025—is part of Latin Securities’ international expansion. Following the acquisition, Latin Securities will manage more than USD 15 billions in assets under management, while Grupo CMA will continue contributing its expertise and experience across Argentina, Uruguay, and the United States, enhancing the provision of integrated financial services throughout the region.

Marval O’Farrell Mairal’s team advising Grupo CMA included Gabriel Matarasso, Pablo Gayol, and Candela Di Cuffa, who provided legal counsel on the structuring, documentation, and negotiation of the transaction.

The parties agreed that the acquired entities will continue operating independently until the relevant regulatory approvals are obtained.
