With an outstanding track record in both academia and professional practice, lawyer, Doctor of Law, and Professor Manuel Núñez Poblete has joined Guerrero Olivos, specifically its Public Law and Regulated Markets practice. He becomes part of one of the most established teams in the country, recognized for advising on highly regulated and complex sectors such as electricity, sanitation, telecommunications, environmental, and urban development markets, as well as in public procurement, concessions, infrastructure, and public litigation.

 

The arrival of Manuel Núñez strengthens the quality that sets the Public Law team apart renowned for its precise approach to analyzing legal challenges, its valuable level of specialization, and its deep understanding of the sector. His addition enhances the team’s capacity to develop effective strategies, providing clients with up-to-date information and innovative solutions in a constantly evolving environment.

Manuel Núñez holds a law degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso and a PhD in Law from the University of Santiago de Compostela. He is a Professor at the PUCV Law School and teaches in various postgraduate programs in Chile and abroad.

 

Between 2022 and 2023, he served as Alternate Member of the Constitutional Court, and from 2010 to 2016, he was a member of the Board of Directors of the National Institute for Human Rights. He is the author of more than 90 publications and a board member of the Chilean Association of Constitutional Law, as well as the Chilean chapter of the International Society of Public Law (ICON·S).
