LOS ANGELES – The Lanier Law Firm has named veteran trial lawyer Lee Cirsch managing attorney of the firm’s Los Angeles office, which has moved to a new location in the Woodland Hills area of Los Angeles.

Mr. Cirsch’s practice is national in scope, representing clients in both consumer and commercial litigation. His expertise includes representing plaintiffs in mass tort and consumer protection class actions, pharmaceutical and medical device litigation and other types of products liability and personal injury matters.

Mr. Cirsch has played key roles in multidistrict litigation (MDL) actions on behalf of individuals who have suffered serious medical complications from defective metal-on-metal hip implants manufactured by DePuy Orthopaedics and Johnson & Johnson. The Lanier team has secured three jury verdicts of nearly $2 billion in those cases over the last two years.

Mr. Cirsch was a key member of the Lanier trial team that secured a $9 billion jury verdict on behalf of individuals injured after taking the diabetes drug Actos. Mr. Cirsch is also overseeing numerous cases against Johnson & Johnson and Imerys Talc America on behalf of women who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer after using Johnson’s Baby Powder and other talc-based products.

In addition, Mr. Cirsch focuses on representing individuals and businesses that are harmed by companies that engage in unfair competition and other tortious and unlawful business practices.
