Leading licensing law firm Poppleston Allen is proud to announce the promotion of solicitor Felix Faulkner to associate solicitor, making him the firm’s fifth at this level.
Having joined Poppleston Allen in 2015 as a sandwich placement student, Felix qualified as a solicitor in 2021. Since then, he has advised a range of clients, both nationally and in London, on alcohol, entertainment and gambling licensing matters.
In recognition of his contributions, Felix recently became the youngest solicitor in the firm’s history to be named a “Recommended Lawyer” in the 2025 edition of The Legal 500.
Graeme Cushion, managing partner at Poppleston Allen, commented: “We are delighted to announce Felix’s promotion to associate solicitor. His hard work, expertise and genuine passion for the trade have made him an integral part of our London team. It has been a real pleasure to see his development over the years. It is a reflection of his abilities that he has developed his own client base at such a young age.”
Felix regularly writes for the trade press and speaks at events, most recently speaking at the Institute of Licensing’s National Training Conference.
Outside of legal practice, Felix demonstrates his commitment to the trade through charitable initiatives. He recently raised over £1,000 for Only A Pavement Away and the Licensed Trade Charity by participating in the 2025 Pedalling To Pubs Challenge. He even took part in working behind a bar at Knave of Clubs during National Licensing Week.
Felix comments, “I am thrilled to be taking this next step in my career at Poppleston Allen. I have always loved both the firm and industry, and I look forward to continuing to support our clients and the wider trade.”
