Kommunalkredit. Resolar project finance
1. Deal Description
Guerrero Olivos advised Kommunalkredit, an Austrian banking institution specializing in infrastructure and energy financing, in the local-level procedures associated with the financing provided to Resolar for the purchase and development of a photovoltaic plant with an installed capacity of approximately 50 MWp.
The transaction constituted the initial disbursement under a credit agreement that encompasses financing for the purchase, development, and construction of energy projects in several countries. It encountered several complexities, starting with the analysis and prior due diligence of all information related to the relevant solar project. Additionally, given that this transaction spans different jurisdictions, a high level of coordination among the various parties and their legal counsel was necessary.
