Paris, 16 November 2021 – Jeantet advises the deeptech company Quandela on its €15 million funding round
Founded in 2017 by Pascale Senellart-Mardon, Valérian Giesz and Niccolo Somaschi following research conducted at the CNRS C2N laboratory, Quandela develops quantum devices and modules to accelerate the development of quantum communication networks and quantum computers.
The €15 million round was led by Omnes, with the participation of Bpifrance and Quantonation.
Quandela is a part of the acceleration program of La Place Stratégique, a pioneer in France in the area of sovereign issues, which combines civilian, military and entrepreneurial experience and provides it for the success of young strategic companies. It brings together a high-level community of institutional, industrial, legal and financial professionals who contribute to the development of the companies it supports and work to preserve most of their strategic value in France. Among them are la Direction Générale de l’Armement, l’Agence de l’Innovation de Défense, la Gendarmerie Nationale, the industrials THALÈS, BOLLORÉ LOGISTICS and ARQUUS, the firms ACCURACY, JEANTET and ORSON along with a large network of French investors.
Jeantet’s team was composed of Guillaume Fornier, counsel, Robert d’Orglandes and Georges-Dominic Sardi, associates. Guillaume, Robert and Georges-Dominic are part of the team led by Karl Hepp de Sevelinges, with the participation of our partner Xavier Pernot.
