Paris, 10 November 2021 – Jeantet advised fuboTV Inc., the leading sports-first live TV streaming platform which is listed on the NYSE, with respect to the proposed acquisition of France’s number one live TV streaming company, Molotov SAS.
The parties have entered into exclusive discussions regarding the proposed transaction expect to finalize the transaction at the latest in the first quarter of 2022.
Founded by Jean-David Blanc (founder of AlloCiné) and Pierre Lescure (co-founder of Canal+), Molotov is a streaming platform that is revolutionizing access to television, available on all screens and connected devices. Molotov has, after five years of existence, more than 16 million users, making it the French leader in the distribution of streaming programs.
FuboTV is the leading sports-first live TV streaming platform and already operates in the U.S., Canada, Spain.
The transaction fits into FuboTV’s global expansion strategy and the technology capabilities between the two companies are expected to enable FuboTV to launch its interactive sports and entertainment streaming platform on a global scale.
