Genesis Capital is a private equity group that offers growth and development financing to small and medium-sized companies in Central Europe. Since its foundation in 1999, Genesis Capital has advised seven private equity funds with a total volume of EUR 650 million, which have invested in more than 90 companies to date. This is the second investment of the newly established Genesis Private Equity Fund V, which currently has a size of EUR 286 million, and at the same time its first investment in the healthcare sector. The transaction was approved by the Czech Office for the Protection of Competition.

The transaction is being made together with the company's existing management team, which will stay on board and is fully committed to further developing the business. Together, the partners will support the company's continued growth and further refine its strategy, which is based on an individualised approach to patients and the application of comprehensive treatment methods.

"JŠK demonstrated the ability to effectively manage a complex transaction involving multiple stakeholders and to deliver high-quality legal advice across various areas of law," said Tatiana Balkovicová, partner at Genesis Capital. "We appreciate their structured and pragmatic approach, as well as their ability to keep the transaction moving forward even in challenging situations. JŠK was a strong partner for Genesis Capital in the successful completion of the entire transaction."

The JŠK legal team was led by partners Tomáš Doležil and Daniel Pospíšil, with support from senior associate Tomáš Quirenz and junior lawyers Filip Vraspír, Zita Ležatková and Lenka Dvořáková.

"The entire process required time, dialogue and the alignment of multiple perspectives," said Tomáš Doležil. "We are particularly pleased that, together with Genesis, we have succeeded in reaching the first major milestone. We believe this provides a solid foundation for another successful investment."
