On December 11, 2025, Glencore Holding S.A. and Pan Pacific Corporation Co. Ltd. successfully completed the closing of the transaction pursuant to the terms and conditions of a certain stock purchase agreement entered into between the aforementioned entities, whereby Glencore Peru Holding S.A. acquired all of the shares of Compañía Minera Quechua S.A.
Compañía Minera Quechua S.A. is a Peruvian company which holds the Quechua mining project, located the Espinar Province of Cusco.
Glencore Peru Holding S.A. is part of the Glencore corporate group, and in Peru it conducts copper mining operations, among others. With this acquisition, Glencore consolidates its presence in Espinar, location on which Glencore also operates the Antapaccay mining project.
