Conyers acted as Bermuda legal counsel to FWD GROUP HOLDINGS LIMITED (“FWD Group”) for its HK$3.5 billion (US$443 million) successful initial public offering and listing of ordinary shares of the Issuer on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (HKEX) under Stock Code 1828.
FWD Group is a pan-Asian life insurance group that serves approximately 30 million customers across 10 markets, including Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, Cambodia, Japan, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Vietnam and Malaysia. The HKEX listing is a significant watershed event for Asian life insurance sector. The listing represents a significant milestone for the Asian life insurance industry, highlighting the growing maturity and investor interest in the region’s financial services sector.
