SOUTH FLORIDA (June 5, 2017) — Statewide law firm Broad and Cassel today announced that its four South Florida managing partners have been named to the 2017 Power Leaders in Law list by the South Florida Business Journal. This year marks their fifth time on the list.

The annual list honors the top decision makers and key players in South Florida’s legal scene and the impact they have had on the region. Honorees are selected based on their notable contributions in their areas of expertise.

Broad and Cassel Power Leaders include:

  • Deutch is the founding and managing partner of the firm’s Boca Raton office. During his more than 35-year career with Broad and Cassel, he has been instrumental in building the firm’s reputation as a “go-to” real estate practice. He is a member of the firm’s management committee and the Real Estate Practice Group. Deutch has handled numerous substantial transactions during his career with the firm, representing clients that range from individual entrepreneurs to New York Stock Exchange companies.
  • Imperato is the managing partner in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office and has been instrumental in development of the firm’s nationally recognized Health Law Practice Group, which recently received a Band One ranking in Chambers USA 2017. Board certified in health law by The Florida Bar, Imperato serves on the firm’s management committee and is the co-chair of the firm’s white collar defense and compliance department. Imperato was one of the first attorneys in the nation to become certified in health care compliance by the Health Care Compliance Association.
  • Lebow is the founding and managing partner of the firm’s West Palm Beach office and has been at the forefront of not only the firm’s growth but also the South Florida legal community’s for four decades. She serves on the firm’s management committee and is a member of the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, Estate Planning and Trusts, Labor and Employment, Construction Law Litigation, and Tort Law Practice Groups. Lebow is president of Kids’ Dreams, a charity she founded with her late husband, Alan, to provide financially disadvantaged students in Palm Beach County with cultural, scholastic and athletic opportunities.
  • Raymond is the managing partner in the firm’s Miami office and serves on the management committee. A complex commercial litigator for more than 25 years, Raymond is a member of the firm’s Complex Commercial Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, Estate Planning and Trusts, and Securities Litigation Practice Groups. Raymond also is Co-Chair of the Business Litigation department. He has played an integral role in building the firm’s robust business litigation practice group, which features more than 70 attorneys spread across 10 offices. Under his leadership, the Miami office has grown significantly and positioned itself as one of the top firms in the region.
