Mexico City, June 3rd, 2020.
On May 29th, 2020 the Energy Regulatory Commission (“CRE”) published in the Federal Official Gazette an administrative resolution declaring the extension of the suspension of all terms and proceedings before such authority from June 01st, 2020 until the sanitary authorities determine that there are no epidemiologic risks related to the gradual, careful and organized opening of the federal public administration activities.
The administrative resolution A/018/2020 referred above amends CRE´s prior resolutions A/010/2020 dated March 24th, 2020; A/014/2020 dated April 07th, 2020 and A/015/2020 dated April 30th, 2020.
As per CRE updated resolution, all requirements, promotions and documents filed during the above-referred suspension timeframe shall be understood as if they had been made until the sanitary authorities determine that there are no epidemiologic risks for the opening of federal public administration activities.
Suspension would include physical and electronic filings since as per such resolution, it applies to all promotions before CRE.
The above determination was made considering the sanitary emergency that Mexico and the world is facing in connection with the disease known as coronavirus or COVID-19 and in particular the measures to face such disease declared by the Mexican Health Ministry.
