EJASO has strengthened its presence in Andalusia, and particularly in Seville, through the integration of Iureko Abogados y Economistas, a Seville-based firm specialised in corporate, insolvency and banking law.

As part of the transaction, Cecilia Franco Romero and José María Ortega Segura join EJASO as new partners in its Seville office, led by Javier Romero Macías. Cecilia Franco is a recognised expert in corporate, insolvency and restructuring law, banking and procedural matters, as well as a civil and commercial mediator, while José María Ortega specialises in corporate, insolvency and financial law. Both bring extensive professional experience and a strong track record in handling highly complex proceedings.

The integration also includes the incorporation of Abelardo Bracho Arcos as Of Counsel. Former managing partner of PwC Andalusia in Seville, Bracho is a well-known figure in the corporate, insolvency and restructuring space. His arrival significantly strengthens the Seville office’s ability to manage high-stakes transactions and disputes at both national and international levels.

Beyond the legal practice, Iureko contributes a team of accounting experts and tax advisers, enhancing EJASO’s capabilities in accounting, tax and financial consulting. This multidisciplinary reinforcement provides additional technical strength in areas such as corporate structuring, tax planning, restructuring processes and corporate transactions, consolidating a comprehensive advisory platform for companies and entrepreneurs.

With this integration, EJASO continues to advance its growth strategy in Andalusia and reinforces its commitment to delivering highly specialised, multidisciplinary legal services to companies, investment funds and private clients, at a time when restructuring and preventive legal advice have become increasingly critical for business sustainability.

According to Javier Romero Macías, managing partner of EJASO’s Seville office, “the integration of Iureko represents a decisive step in consolidating EJASO as one of the leading firms in the Andalusian market. The incorporation of professionals of the calibre of Cecilia Franco, José María Ortega and Abelardo Bracho significantly strengthens our capabilities in corporate, insolvency and restructuring matters, areas where demand for specialised advice is growing exponentially.”

He adds that “our goal is to continue offering clients a comprehensive service that combines technical excellence with an in-depth understanding of the Andalusian business landscape. The integration with Iureko allows us to expand our structure and respond more effectively to the challenges of an increasingly demanding and globalised market.”

Finally, he concludes that “this move fully aligns with EJASO’s growth strategy, based on attracting talent, specialisation and client proximity. Seville is a key market for the firm, and this integration reinforces our long-term commitment to the region’s economy and business community.”
