E+H advises nexspace on the expansion of its data centre site in Graz

E+H has provided comprehensive legal advice to co-location provider nexspace on the further expansion of its site in Graz.

As part of the project, a new four-storey building will extend the existing facility and significantly increase the site's capacity. The expansion comprises approximately 3,000 sqm of total floor space, including around 600 sqm of additional IT space, with a connected load of approximately 2.2 MVA. Going forward, the site will support not only conventional IT workloads but also compute-intensive applications, in particular in the field of artificial intelligence and high-density computing. Commissioning is scheduled for September 2027.

A key focus of the project is energy efficiency and sustainability: state-of-the-art cooling technologies and heat recovery systems are designed to reduce the site's environmental footprint. With this expansion, nexspace strengthens its position as a provider of high-performance, regional data centre capacity and makes an important contribution to Austria's digital infrastructure.

"The expansion of the Graz site marks another important step in strengthening Austria's digital infrastructure. We are delighted to have supported nexspace through this next stage of its development," says partner Johannes Feilmair.
