We have advised ID Logistics, a French logistics group listed on the Paris Stock Exchange, on the acquisition of a 100% stake in the Polish company Spedimex, a leading logistics operator specialising in the fashion and e-commerce sectors.
As a result of the acquisition of Spedimex, our client has strengthened its position on the dynamically evolving logistics market in Europe and become its leader in Poland. ID Logistics has gained access to 15 new locations in Poland where Spedimex previously operated, expanding its footprint on the Polish market to 35 locations, 7,000 employees and a broad customer portfolio.
ID Logistics Group is an international contract logistics operator managing a portfolio of 365 locations in 17 countries across Europe, America, Asia and Africa. It develops technologically advanced solutions for customers in the retail, e-commerce and FMCG sectors. Spedimex has operated on the Polish market for 30 years, offering its customers complex logistics services in Poland and 15 European countries. The merged businesses have been operating under the ID Logistics name since the beginning of June.
