DZP advised the Enea Group on the purchase of the 35 MW Genowefa Photovoltaic Farm from PAD RES, a leading developer in the clean energy sector. The project fits the Development Strategy of Enea Group, one of the largest energy groups in Poland, which assumes the dynamic development of renewable energy sources.
The PV farm, which was built near Kleczew in the Wielkopolskie Voivodship and has been in operation since August 2023, is estimated to be able to produce more than 35,000 MWh of green energy per year in its first years of operation, providing clean energy for about 17,500 households. The installation purchased from PAD RES, a joint venture between Griffin Capital Partners and Kajima Europe, consists of 65,420 panels and covers an area of approx. 40 hectares.
- In recent months, we declared a clear acceleration of our activities related to increasing the Enea Group’s installed capacity in renewable energy sources. Recent weeks and further investment projects, like the purchase of the Genowefa PV Farm, confirm the fulfilment of our commitments and contribute to the transformation of the energy sector. More of our installations are in the pipeline and currently, we have projects within Group companies with defined connection conditions for about 525 MW. In turn, in 2024 we plan to have projects of about 800 MW with construction permits issued. - said Paweł Majewski, CEO of Enea S.A.
